Bob Sutton is my new hero for his book, The No-Asshole Rule. He states perfectly, "A few demeaning creeps can overwhelm the warm feelings generated by hordes of civilized people." I have too many jerks in my life. Now I know what to do about them: stop them in their tracks before they accumulate more victims through their insensitivity, bullying and agression. I don't care what motivates them, what excuses they have when caught in the act or any rationale for their unacceptable and annoying behavior. I won't do business with them any more no matter how brilliant they are, how much incremental profit they independently generate or how they turn on the charm. They get the boot.
Don't let them propogate their nastiness. Bannish them from your life too! Let's kill them off by excising them from the workforce, cutting off their livelihood and depriving them of opportunities to hurt others.
