Hello Billie,
I understand that your intentions are good and that you are trying to motivate us to be our best through shock value. However I find this approach very negative - it is always easy to point out the things that are wrong. It is not much harder, yet so much more beneficial to point out ways/things to improve. In a society where we are bombarded by stories of "Home Invasions" "Fraud" "Joblessness" and declining standards of living, I am amazed by the negativity and fear-mongering to which the style of your article fits in so well. Enough things "have hurt me" this year. How about some "good energy?!"
